Though Stage Stop is usually 100% concentrated on making the tastiest chocolates on the Cape, recently we turned our focus to elevating our in store-space to better serve our amazing customers. Stage Stop has been a delicious staple on Cape Cod for decades, both to the local year-round community and our friendly visitors in the summer season. After all these years of putting our best, chocolatey foot forward, we decided it was time to focus on our interior.
Over the past few months the Stage Stop Candy store has been revamped and is looking better than ever. If you haven't seen our freshly painted walls and new lay out, that's a sign to come give us a visit and treat yourself to some sweets! Though we have made some necessary cosmetic upgrades to our historic building in Dennis Port, it is simply a new look with the same feel and most importantly the same timeless taste. We know change can be hard but we promise you Stage Stop’s mission, ambiance and recipes are the same.
The past few months of construction have been a journey. With a few bumps in the road we have finally finished with an exceptional new Cape Cod themed look. The Stage Stop building underwent this process beginning in mid-December after the Christmas craziness. With hard work, determination and an occasional piece of chocolate motivation, the remodel was completed in mid-February and we LOVE how it turned out.
Prime, paint, sweet treat and repeat! Our remodel focused on implementing new floors, paint, shelves, organization systems and so much more to give a fresh look to the inside of our store. This way customers are better able to see all the candy and chocolates we have to offer. After moving every single piece from the storefront out of the store then back in when the renovations were done, we were able to strategically place all the yumminess of Stage Stop in more accessible locations. Don’t worry, the little ones can still reach all the bin candy and fill up their baskets with their favorites!
Thankfully during this process we were still able to serve our wonderful customers by implementing an online ordering system and a curbside pick up option through our website, which has also been freshly updated. This pick-up option was so efficient and fun that we are still offering it to customers for the time being. Ordering online seems to be a new wave and one we love being able to offer! Most importantly, we want to thank our loyal customers for remaining so patient through the entirety of this process and for all of their support. We would also like to thank our extraordinary staff for working through the chaos with a smile on their faces and excited attitudes. Lastly a major thank you and shoutout to the renovation company we collaborated on this project with….none of this would have been possible without you!
For all those asking, our new paint color is Indigo Batik from Sherwin Williams! As much as we enjoyed the process, and madness, of renovating our beloved space, we are even more excited to be fully back open and serving up sweetness to our favorite community.
